What's Core Paddling? Good question!  It's the term we've used in prior years at Ben's classes, so we decided to stick with it.  It could be called "Boat Control" or "Strokes and Maneuvers", or "anything but forward stroke."  It's about engaging your core for power and efficiency and effectiveness.  It's changing direction and speed. And heck, it's about having fun in a boat.

This year we're offering Core Paddling 1, Core Paddling 2, and Core Paddling 3.

Core Paddling 3 is aimed at people who are paddling at a high level and have spent time getting their core skills wired, but who still want to sharpen and refine.  We all get a little sloppy over time, and a fresh pair of eyes can spot bad habits that have crept in. If we want to play in bigger water, our skills need to be sharp.  If we're instructors, we need to be modelling and teaching skills at a high level.

Come to this class with 3 goals, and we'll tailor the class around what people want to work on.
